Kitkat Pecson: Tales Of First Love
Travel
When I was in the fifth grade, my hippie parents tucked me and my brother into a sedan and we went on a mad and wonderful road trip across America. I stood on a spot where four state boundaries meet and you can stand in all four at the same time. I bought a dreamcatcher from a Navajo…
To go on a road trip across America used to be just a dream, a long-time plan. I can’t explain why I love reading accounts of people and their travels in that side of the world. And to think I have friends who have done it already—imagine how envious I have become of them!
You see, the idea of me going around the US used to be so impossible, with issues on school and finances in the way. But, now that I have graduated from university with my visa and my mom’s go signal (she wants me out of her hair by June!) in tow, I can’t see how my American dream can’t happen any time soon.
Ahhh, I’m excited for what’s in store for me this year!
